Mohbad bags 2 posthumous awards in Ghana

The musician was supposed to get his award nomination and approval letter before his untimely and controversial death.

LATE Nigerian hip-hop singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has reportedly received two posthumous awards in Ghana.

The singer, who passed away at 27, was recognised as the winner of the Supreme African Street-Hop Artist of the Year and Supreme African Song of the Year (Beast and Peace) at the Ghanaian Supreme Dynamic Talent Academy Awards.52465f3a-a515-4909-93d5-d0fc22586aed

The musician was supposed to get his award nomination and approval letter before his untimely and controversial death.

In remembrance of the late singer, the award’s organisers have immortalised the late singer by establishing a new category of awards, which will be presented annually to top performers.

The new award category was named the Supreme Imole Rookie Street-Pop Artiste of the Year.
