ACTRESS, Yvonne Jegede took to Instagram on June 13, 2024, to call out media personality, Nedu, accusing him of narcissism and toxicity.
In a lengthy post, Jegede wrote, "Narcissistic and toxic men like him cannot grasp the importance of apologising when others feel hurt by your actions, regardless of whether you believe you are right or wrong."
Jegede's post was in response to Nedu's reaction to her appearance on a podcast, where she apologised to May Edochie and women in general. Jegede alleged that Nedu revels in promoting negative narratives against women, stating, "Small-minded people like you rejoice when women attack each other or are trampled upon."
She further accused him of disliking women and their success, saying, "Perhaps the rumour about you is true—you don’t like women!"
Jegede also called out Nedu for failing to support her work, claiming he neglected to promote her movie A Father’s Love during her appearance on the podcast. She concluded her post by saying, "Nedu, there’s nothing wrong with women winning and shining; it doesn’t diminish you or any other man." The actress's bold statements have sparked a heated debate on social media, with fans and critics weighing in on the issue.
