THE Lagos State University Management, under the leadership of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, has outlined a list of events drafted to celebrate the 26th convocation ceremonies of the institution dated for Wednesday, June 14 to Thursday, June 22, 2023, while also giving convocation notice to graduands of all levels.
A recent publication by the University read: “On behalf of the Management and Staff, Lagos State University, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, hereby informs all graduands, parents/guardians, University community, and the general public of the programme of events for the 26th Convocation Ceremonies.
“The 26th Convocation is for graduands of the 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 Academic Sessions.” 
The programme of events for the Convocation Ceremonies is as follows:
Pre-Convocation Events:
DAY 1 - Convocation Press Conference

Meanwhile, the University also advised all categories of graduands to visit the LASU payment portal www.lasu.edu.ng/tsa/epayment/default.php and follow the steps to pay for their Convocation Package.
They will then be eligible for a Convocation Package on the presentation of a receipt of payment at their respective faculties.
The publication also informed graduands that Academic Gowns should be returned immediately after the Ceremony and latest by Friday, June 23, 2023, adding that any graduand who holds on to the academic gown beyond Friday, June 23, 2023, will be liable to a fine of Five Hundred Naira (N500:00) for each day of default.
Also, any graduand who loses or damages the academic gown would pay a sum of Thirty Thousand Naira (N30,000) as a replacement fee.
Graduands are to note that certificates will be available for collection immediately after the Convocation ceremonies, subject to the return of the academic gown.
