TO further enhance practical work and promote journalistic experience, excellence, and professionalism in Nigeria's foremost state university - Lagos State University, the HND Conversion student of the Department of Print Journalism has launched LASUGONG - a student publication highlighting activities within the institution's campuses.
The publication with the motto, "Towards Professional Excellence," now avails students the opportunity to put into practice what they are learning, as well as have their names in the by-line.
LASUGONG has as its Editorial Adviser, the Head of the Department of Print Journalism, Tunde Akanni PhD, who has distinguished himself as a journalist of repute and exemplary academia.
The team is also comprised of the Editor-in-Chief; Sunday Oguntola, Editor; Tunde Oladipo, Deputy Editors; Jaiyeola Olatunbosun and Asubiojo Oluremilekun.
The team has on board, Editorial Page Editors, Women Page Editors, Sports Editor, Correspondents, Reporters, Marketing/Advert Executives, and Circulation Executives.
The LASU Print Journalism Department is also a worthy partner of Lastutoday.com, in their joint commitment to further enhance campus journalism and project LASU in a favourable light to the international community.
