LASU VC sends welcome message to students, assures of continuous training of staff to enhance productivity

Professor Olatunji-Bello urged the students to give their very best this semester and resist any temptation to take the shortcut to success, emphasising the virtues of hard work and focus.

THE performing Vice-Chancellor of Nigeria's Best State University - Lagos State University, Professor Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, mni has sent a welcome message to students ahead of the resumption into the last lap of the academic session.

Olatunji-Bello, in a message she personally signed, reiterated her administration's commitment to making LASU the best University in West Africa. 

She also gave insight into what her administration is putting in place to ensure a realisation of this vision. The VC said, "As part of our effort in this regard, we are investing more in the training and retraining of our staff to improve their productivity and enhance their service to you.

"For example, on Thursday, November 10, we had an intensive training for all newly engaged academic staff to optimize their performance. We are also engaged in several local and international collaborations for students exchange programmes, amongst others. The results of these engagements would become visible soon."

Professor Olatunji-Bello further urged the students to give their very best this semester and resist any temptation to take the shortcut to success, emphasising the virtues of hard work and focus.
