AWARD-WINNING movie director, Kunle Afolayan has revealed that he didn’t pay his daughter, Eyiyemi Afolayan, for her role in the blockbuster movie 'Anikulapo'.
Eyiyemi Afolayan made her debut appearance in the movie as Omowunmi, a princess who fell in love with Saro but didn't open up to him.
Kunle Afolayan, speaking on his daughter's debut appearance said; “If you want to portray the role of a princess, I think there is no given that the person has to be beautiful and she is beautiful.
"It felt good because I did not have to pay her, even though I was paying her directly or indirectly."
Eyiyemi, speaking on her role in the movie said; "Omowunmi is very foolish because Saro never proposed love to her but she already started having ideas in her head. She is beautiful no doubt, but also gullible."
The movie which was released on September 30, 2022, went on to top the global Netflix charts.
