Prof S.G. Odewumi is a renowned Professor of Transport Planning and Policy in the School of Transport and Logistics , LASU.

Maria Itunu Soniregun is a 200L student of the Department of Philosophy, Lagos State University.

Kappo, a Computer Science graduate from LASU, previously served as the President of the Lagos State Students Union (LASUSU) in the 2016/2017 academic session and will now serve as SSA to Sanwo-Olu on Tertiary Education.

Recall that the Faculty of Law also produced the Best Graduating Student, Aminat Yusuf, with the highest CGPA (5.0) in the history of the University at the 26th convocation ceremonies held in June of 2023.

The British Council-funded project addressed a critical issue affecting university campuses in Nigeria – sexual violence.

While speaking at the event, Oniba Ekun stated that Aminat’s feat was being celebrated not only to open doors of such greatness for his children but also to serve as an inspiration to young people in the kingdom that hard work pays.
